Members of the Linking Science, Literacy and Mathematics for All Learners team participated in an EdWeek panel discussion, titled The Literacy Demands of the Science Classroom, led by Sarah Sparks (Assistant Editor, Education Week). Discussion with over 240 participants focused on the importance of and innovative ways teachers have integrated complex science text in their instruction. This session was one of a number focused on reading instruction across the content disciplines hosted by Education Week.
